EASTON HOCKEY OFFERS MAXIMUM MOBILITY, PROTECTION WITH NEW STEALTH S19 PROTECTIVE™
Protective gear allows for more agility on the ice.
VAN NUYS, Calif. (October 26, 2009) – Easton Hockey, the designer and manufacturer of the No. 1 stick and glove in the NHL, today announced the launch of its Stealth S19 protective. The new line offers focused protection in high-impact areas, while giving players greater range of motion.
Easton’s S19 protective includes a lightweight structure and innovative design that allows for more fluid movement and greater agility than its predecessors. Featuring Easton’s Independent Shoulder Motion and Free Range of Motion technologies, the S19 protective includes segmented shoulder pads and pre-curved, adjustable bicep pads for increased mobility in the shoulder and upper arm.
“In a physical, and sometimes violent, game like hockey, player safety is of the utmost importance,” said Ned Goldsmith, Senior Vice President of Easton Hockey. “But protection shouldn’t come at the cost of performance. Our lightweight Stealth S19 protective gives players the ultimate in protection, while maximizing mobility.”
The S19 protective also features the X-Lock System, which uses neoprene straps that cross the forearm to increases stability and allow blood flow, plus an external calf wrap made of molded plastic to ensure protection and stability.
The S19 protective will be available at major sporting goods retailers in March 2009.
